Hellow,
I'm looking for a skype headset with a shorter wire, because mine is too long and stretches all the way to the other side of the room if I wanted it to. I was looking at some in pc world the other day, or trying, but didn't bother in the end because you can't actually see what's there until after you've got the thing. Well anyway, does anyone have any ideas about which headset to choose like usb connection or microphone? Is there anything I could use to separate out the sounds like to separate jaws from say someone talking over skype or something I'm listening to? I know it's a bit of a long topic, but any ideas?
Thank you.

You could kill a lot of birds with one stone and get a combination microphone/headset that connects via USB. If you're worried about wires getting in the way, I'd suggest bluetooth, or your basic pair of wireless headphones (though a good pair will be quite costly even if you know where to look).

And, what exactly do you mean when you say "seperating sounds?"

Is there a way of for example hearing jaws in one headphone and someone talking in the other, so I don't get what I'm doing mixed up with their jaws and end up pressing completely the wrong thing? I've used one for the telephone and computer together, but I never seen them in shops. Mind you, I wouldn't know what they're called or if they'd work for skype.
